Más que sólo excelente música, este box set de cuatro discos llamado The Story Of Jamaican Music es una línea del tiempo que marca la historia de la música hecha en Jamaica, en dicha compilación se pueden escuchar a intérpretes y grupos como: Derrick Morgan, Millie Small, Laurel Aitken, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley and The Wailers, The Maytals, Alton Ellis, Prince Buster, Ken Boothe, The Paragons, Owen Gray, Delroy Wilson, Phyllis Dillon, U roy, Max Romeo, Denis Brown y muchos más, cabe destacar que esta excelentísima compilación fue echa por nada más y nada menos que ISLAND Records en 1993, no cabe duda que se merecen una gran ovación y millones de aplausos por este Box Set de 4 Discos.
